my boyfriend of 8 months just found out that my ex boyfriend from a year ago called me last night. i didnt tell him about it because i thought he would me mad at me, but i told one of his friends and now he thinks that i dont trust him. and he thinks that i have other secrets from him and that im lying to him because of his past girlfriends cheating and lying to him. i dont no how i can convince him that im not a cheater but i dont no what to say because everything i say to him he thinks i am lying to him. i really love him and im not ready to be without him. i need help to make him believe me.

It is just going to take time for him to regain his trust for you. Keep telling him of your love for him and through your actions he will come to know how you feel about him. I think every relationship goes through this sort of test. Be patient, he will soon come around.

first of all, you didn't do anything wrong. you didn;t cheat on him, it was a simple phone call. tell him that you can't help the fact that your ex called you because you can;t control the actions of others. tell him that he is also going to have to trust you or you're going to leave. being in a relationship where the person doesn't trust you for no reason is hell.

He's doing it for attention. Tell him if he can't believe you or trust you then the two of you should probably take a break for awhile.

Tell him to get a life if that upsets him. You did nothing wrong! You are allowed to talk to whoever you feel like. If he's jealous and untrusting, that's his problem.
