The best place to get this information is from :
http://www.charitynavigator.org/
They actually rate charities based on how much money actually goes to their cause.

Feed the children got 4 stars because 90% of their money goes to actually feeding children.

If you are concerned about whether the donations go to the children, I believe you can feel assured the answer is yes. If you are concerned about it going where there is need, the answer would also be yes. (However I'm sure if you ask them for an audited financial statement, they will send it to you. Probably a wise thing to do no matter what charity you are dealing with, if you do not know the leaders personally).
If it is important to you that the organisation keep quiet about its religious or spiritual beliefs, then no, they will surely not satisfy you on that level. They are believers, and they will be what they are as they help others. Their faith is what motivates them. They believe that the love they have for children was caused by their faith. If that is a problem for you, then you had better keep your money and let the children starve - or find some other organization doing the same work you have more confidence in. The important thing is, in other words, to give.

I don't donate to anything charity because I don't trust the middleman to give all of my donations to the people I want it to be given to. They can have websites, testimonies and people saying how great the charity is but that's not proof. They could easily have made those websites, testimonies, and people up.
I only give homeless people food and money because that's the only time when I know for sure where my donation is going.

Horrible that there are fraudulent and disreputable charities out there now and you have to ask these types of questions--feed the children is one of the good ones

i really don't know...i wish i could say yes its worthy...but then again look ....it seems like they should have done been fat by now....so its kinda iffy to me...if i ever get rich i always said i would fly over in a plane & throw out mcdonalds cheeseburgers to them ....instead of feeding them cream of wheat.. with all the money that the charity has gotten it seems like they should have gotten more accomplished by now

Please keep your money at home and find a local organization or church with missions if you really want to donate. There are starving children in your neighborhood I guarantee it.

I don't know, but don't believe so, I prefer local charities, such as the food banks, fire depts, salvation army, meals on wheels, etc.
