If Jesus died for everyone why seek Him? God can't punish us if Jesus paid for our sin. That would not be just to punish Christ and me. If He died for all then all are saved. Or He only died for His sheep as He says.

How do I know he did? Because a book tells me? How do I know he existed? Did I ask him to die for me? Isn't it rather presumptuous? And isn't it god's fault that we're in the pickle in the first place? He's the one who supposedly created the garden of eden and placed a tree in there for some crazy reason and then made an arbitrary rule that we couldn't eat from it. If he hadn't done that, then Jesus wouldn't have needed to die.

No. He died for those of his time. He thought his death was an indication of the beginning of the End TImes, so he believed there would be no more humanity soon after his death.

A fascinating theory, in the book listed below. He was a great philosopher but I don't believe he was the Son o' God.

You know Ken, the world would be a much better place if there were less sheepherders like yourself, but that's fine, don your jeans with holes in the knees and bring as many people as you can to your twisted view of what God is, who needs to actually pray to God and figure out their faith on their own when they have someone like you to tell them what to think? God Bless.

I think Jesus was one of the greatest personalities to walk on earth. I think what is important about him was not in his death but was what he tried humanity to understand when he was alive! He did not die for us... HE LIVED FOR US! He taught us what love is... he taught us that god is not a church... a religion... I think fanatics have twisted this notion and what he came here to do... and yes, he was the son of god.. like everyone else is....

Oh, yes. But, He sought me, the lost Lamb, until I found Him, the Good Shepherd, over 35 Years ago. It is the best thing that ever happened to me!

First, he died on my behalf for my sins.

Second, I have already sought him out (we have this understanding)

Third, what makes you think I do not realize this fact about Jesus?

YES, it does motivate me, to especially thank him every chance that I get, because he did not have to do it.

Please stop trying to put that retarded stuff on everyone. If that's you want to think, fine. But, keep it within your cult.

Do you realize he would have died sooner or later, no matter what?
