What is required to get H D television reception? I have the tv set, the dish and the H D receiver.?

Well sounds like you have everything you need including the HD package that you buy from your provider....So to get TRUE HD, you connect your TV to your HD reciever using a HDMI OR COMPONENT cable, then you select that input on your TV, then you select a station that is HD, showing an HD show.....and as long as you have an HD <> connected to your TV....you'll get HD.

Call your satellite provider and ask what they offer in HD. You may get some already with a standard package, or you may have to subscribe to an HD package. You have all the equipment you need.
