my goodness - what DIDN't she make well?
Her turkey is the best - I always cook mine the same way and people always rave about it
Her pie, any kind, is always awesome because of the very flakey crust - light as a feather
She made her own pickles, relish, spaghetti sauce, jam, etc
But I guess I would have to say - years ago when we were all still home - the best thing she made was home made bread - and with her home made jam..... MMMM.

Well, I am the mom. But, I can tell you that my son (13) will tell you that my Chicken and Dumplings are the best. He favors my Spaghetti also. I have never had him turn down my fried chicken, green beans and rice.
Actually he pretty much will eat anything I cook. I am a good cook!

She use to make homemade bread + doughnuts. Now it's my turn to cook for her she will be 90 years old next month. When she cooked it was for 13 kids plus her+dad.

Wow, really hard to choose!! I'd have to say either her pork roast w/saurkraut and potatoes or potato pancakes....or her pork chops with mushroom and wine sauce.....she's German, so you know just about everything she cooks is AWESOME!! Hmm, next time I go visit her, I'll have to have her make something. Now I'm hungry. =/

For the other foods my Dad was the best cook. He made a pot roast to die for.

My mom made this super rad (yes I said rad...it's that good) crustless veggie quiche. Even as I've learned to cook quite well, I still can't get it to taste as good.

my mom make breaded meatloaf. she makes the bread dough then bakes the meatloaf was thats done she wraps the meatloaf in the bread dough and bakes till the bread is done and cover in a chesse sauce.
my kids favorite that i make is crab crapes.
