we cant know because we dont understand their language
that is like me saying chinese know nothing because i dont understand that ... of course they do
but animals i believe know much more than we think

The one thing we know from the Bible that God tells us is that animals are not reasoning creatures but creatures of instinct. As soon as you give animals reasoning abilities you have a horror movie like Jaws, or the birds etc.

Sometimes I wonder if we are the most intelligent life form on earth. We can't speak to them so what do we know.
My dog can understand what I say but I can't understand a thing he says.
Killer whales are known to show great compassion towards seals even though they are food to them, they understand they would possibly die if it wasn't for the seals.

I agree with you totally, speculation is the problem in this section. People tend to talk like an authority on things for which there is no proof.
