I had my wisdom teeth taken out on the 2nd last week and now I'm worried if that I might have some food or I'm messing around with my self- dissolving stitches.

There's something looks like a white string sticking out of my hole and I think that it's food that has gotten trapped down there. I can move it around but when I pull on it, it won't come out but it will move side to side.. I have tried the syringe and rinsing my mouth out, but with no luck. Should I contact the surgeon and what do you guys think it is?

It is most likely the stitches. My stitch fell out the day after I had my first wisdom tooth pulled and I called the dentist and he had me come back in to check it and said that I didn't need it. Do call them and have them check it for you.

are having a bad aste in your mouth because of that?
Iou feel pain on those areas?
dont try to pull it out , if the stiches are absorbable or not don't mess around wit it .
if you have stiches nonabsorbable you shoud have an app that you need your stiches removed, if not that means you have them absorbable, and you should wait .
you shoud go immediately to your oral surgeon , its not a joke with this , im a dental assistant and i've seen this and its not good
give a call anyway for your own relief , they will tell you what to do .

Just go see your dentist. It will take 5 minutes for them to look in your mouth, and they will get whatever is in there out. You then, will not have to worry about this anymore.
