It is just frightening to see teeth that are supposed to be in your mouth, OUT of your mouth. I remember when I was young, I saw my grandma without her teeth and it totally freaked me out! You can use this as a lesson for your daughter.. tell her to make sure she brushes her teeth everyday and to not eat so many sweets so she will never need fake teeth.Don't lie to her about it, just tell her she needs to take care of her teeth.

because shes little... little kids get scared of things like that... explain to her that they are fake and that all grandmas teeth were takin by the tooth fairy or something a long time ago so now she has fake ones.... then try to pull your teeth out and show her that as long as you brush your teeth everyday your teeth will be healthy....oh and be sure to explain to her that you loose one set of baby teeth before your permanant ones come in

It is just so unusual how many teethless people have we ever seen in our lives. I would just explain it to her. That everything is ok, it's still her Granny. Then if she is interested explain exactly what is missing from Granny's mouth and why. best wishes in helping her overcome her fear...

She thinks her teeth might fall out.....that is funny because my 3 yr. old said she wished she had teeth like grandaddy so she could just "soak" them.....instead of having to brush everyday.

When you are young and you see something like that, it'll scar you for a while. Its the same feeling you get when you see a dog get hit by a car. Its terrifying.

i am grown and i do not like to see things like that either.maybe her grandmother can be a little more discreet next time she needs to remove them.at least til she can understand what is happening.
