i need help on how to make him stop we already bought him like 5 collars already and we dont want ot buy anymore:(

If he is able to get his mouth on his collar, then the collar is definitely too big. The collar shouldn't be extremely tight, but big enough so that you can can fit two fingers under it. By two fingers under it, I don't mean, side by side, but up and down.

Do you mean Dachshund? So you researched the breed before getting one? Sorry for the sarcasm.

Anyway, try a harness. Many doxies prefer them and they put less strain on the neck. If my dog wasn't a houdini, it's what I would use to walk her.

Is he breaking them on the leash or when you leave him alone with the collar? You could try to leave the collar off him when he's alone and only put it on when he's let outside or when he's taken anywhere. And if he can get his mouth around it, it's too big for him.
