Ive had ear infections since I was 6 months old. Increased when I started smoking at 12. Ive has 23 P&E tubes put in and I ham basically deaf Had 1 mastoidectomy and one Modified Radical Mastoidectomy. (its the bone in back of the ear attached to the skull).
My ears got a lot better when I quit smoking but this past few moinths It's really gone down hill. My right ear is almost swollen shut. Im getting dark brown fluid and blood leaking out.
The left one isnt swollen but I am dripping brown fluid. Ive taken 2 rounds of antibiotics the one where you take 7 pills and it lasts 3 days, but still the problem comes back. I have moderate headaches, sore throat and some neck stiffness.
Anyone else have these problems?

that's so horrible. i am so sorry you have to live with this. i cannot imagine, really.
god bless you and your endurance and fortitude. we should all be reminded how lucky we are to have less formidable problems than you, my friend.
