You are supposed to consume only about an extra 300 calories a day while pregnant. That is like eating 2 apples and a container of yogurt....it's not a lot of extra food. I actually lost 6 pounds when I first found out I was pregnant by cutting out all junk food. I ate a lot of fresh fruit and stayed away from frozen microwave dinners, and other processed foods. Fresh foods are much better for you.
