He just changed, why?

Question

I talk to this guy through myspace and IM. We've known each other since I was six and he was eleven. Since then we've talked and now we don't talk much. When I used to talk to him, he would seem as though he LOVED talking to me and we'd spend hours talking. Now he doesn't leave comments and he's hardly online. Did I do something wrong?

One time my cousin got mad and she left him a comment explaining that I was too young for him to talk to me. She did the same to me. After that things weren't the same, yeah we still IMed, but he rarely leaves comments. Only on my birthday he left me one.

Well, you have been talking through internet, so you can't really know what's going on his life. Maybe something happened in his family. Or maybe he's just really busy these days. Maybe he found himself a girlfriend. Or maybe, he just got tired of talking to you.

Internet is something that can distort everything. When you say something, it might mean what it means when you say it, but it might not sound like what it means if you typed it on the net. Of course, you might have said something that didn't mean to hurt him, but accidentally did.

Next time he goes online, ask him why he's not been online as much lately. But the only thing i can say is, you hafta stop living on the net and look into reality. Because for all you know he might just be some weird old man sitting in front of a computer

Well, if he not on-line very much then he can't exactly e-mail and IM you any more. Maybe he's too busy to call you too. You could try calling him, Stefy.

Also, I've never really been into the Internet as far as dating. It has nothing on a real live person standing in front of you. Maybe you should consider stepping away from the computer and finding a flesh and blood boyfriend instead of one on your computer screen.

I doubt it if anything changed but life got to rushing, I know the feeling, I feel like I never accomplish anything anymore, I run and run but never get anything accomplished, I try to keep up with myspace and other sites but end up busy. I bet he is just busy. Sorry

Maybe he started to like you and freaked out. Guys do that. Sometimes they need space. Or maybe he is just really busy in general. Just keep it cool, act like you don't notice. Then if things don't change after a few weeks just leave him a casual message asking how he is.

People change they grow up and apart sometimes. Take is slow maybe it will come back around and you will get close again. He may have other activities or interests that is taking up his time right now.

i think he might just have found someone he likes and is spending more time with them or since he is older than you he might be needing time to figure out what he wants to do
