I have been dating this guy and things have been great, he even told me he loved me. Well, yesterday, just out of the blue, I wrote him a text asking him a question. No response! Guys, what is this? Is he mad at me? Does he want space? Does he just feel it is OK not to respond sometimes? Should I just wait for him to get in touch with me? I mean, this is a guy who just told me he loves me. But he doesn't even take the time to respond? Am I really just worried about nothing?

I know I know, I am just scared of him not caring anymore. I guess that is my insecurity speaking. Also, I asked him if he wanted to hang out last night. Which kind of made expecting a response reasonable. And I havent heard from him at all in a couple days. Sorry, I am just scared of being hurt.

Wow - aren't you overreacting when it's only been a day??? Anything could have happened to prevent him from answering.
Don't be the kind of person who demands that someone drop everything and make you the focal point of their world. Being that demanding will only, eventually, drive him - and anyone else - away. Just relax, k? Things happen in their own, sweet time....

Your worried about nothing. Maybe the text didn't even go through. If you asked him in person and he ignored you then I think you have an issue. You can't read into text or emails that are or are not responded to.

Hmm, can't help but wonder what you said in your text. Could have something to do with what was said and he may not know how to respond. This is why most guys are afraid to tell women this because once those three lil words are uttered, expectations galor.

so you sent a text, is he suppose to respond immediately?, if someone says he loves you and does not answer a text the problem was the question, what was it anyway?.
