-i never used to wear my glasses and i never focused on far away too much, but now i have contacts i do that so my focus take like a few seconds or so to switch back to near and far... is that normal?

It's not unusual for your vision to feel strange at first. Did your optometrist give you a wearing schedule? When I first got mine I was limited to a few hours each day for about a week to give my eyes a chance to get used to them. Don't push it too much at first, and when/if your eyes are bothering you taake them out for a while. You'll get used to them in about a week or 2.

When I first got my contacts, I got used to them immediately, being soft ones. The only thing that I didn't get used to was putting them in. I had no problem with the focus shift, but glasses and contacts are a lot different and when I switch to glasses now, which is very rarely, it does take a day or two to get used to them since the focus is all weird. Sometimes it feels like I am dizzy at first. So I wouldn't be surprised if it took a little bit to get used to the focus of your contacts. (Especially since I have most trouble with the glasses when looking far away as well, not really close up)
