You need to use a triple barrel iron.

It depends on your natural hair type... whether it's naturally straight, wavy, or curly... if it's straight... try using a curling iron. make sure your hair is dry, spray some hairspray on area you are working on, curl it all the way up and let it go.... when you finish, brush your hair and you will have loose curls. if your hair is kind of wavy already and you want to enhance it, get out of the shower and put curling moose in it when it's damp. let it air dry...

get a curling iron with an even bigger barrel, so as that it makes the curl "softer" --- if that's not achieveable, i might try curling an even bigger component of hair at one time. in case you do smaller sections, then of direction that is going to likely be curlier. yet, as yet another poster reported, "run your hands by your hair" and which will help to soften it up.

use medium to large size rollers in damp hair with a setting lotion and either air dry, sleep in them or use a bonnet dryer on a low -medium heat setting. This is the best way to acheive wavy hair without causing heat damage to your hair.

Buy a three barrel curling iron. It takes a little bit of time but it looks totally hot when you are done!

The best way to get wavy hair is to use hot rollers or some people call them steam rollers.

ok well sometimes if I want my hair wavy, I put it in a bun after I take a shower and it always turns out wavy when I take it out.

But make sure that you dont take it out to soon! :)
