To be honest with out giving the obvious out about being attracted by a form of looks, there are loads of other ways men and woman get attracted.

To name a few, looking into someones eyes,
getting to know them and what the real person is like.
Humour, body language, the personality as a whole.
confidence perhaps but shyness is also an attraction.

Absolutely. Confidence is extremely important. In my opinion more so than anything else. Even if a woman isnt very attractive, with a little confidence and an outgoing personality, she becomes much more appealing. And it works both ways, someone that is annoying, bitchy or even confident to the point of cocky will make them less appealing and i some cases unattractive completely. A little confidence can do wonders for the average dater, too much is a turnoff. Good Luck.

Isn't it a shame, not even one of those people mentioned intellect. A well educated woman, who has self respect, who knows she is a lot more than her genitals and body, a woman who can hold a conversation and stimulate one. A woman who can hold your attention and attract a man and keep him mentally attracted to her without all those mindless little girl games that the uneducated constantly play.
