If you're like me.......

you aren't all that social to begin with, at least with most people. But I could give you a better answer if I had more of an idea of your age, sex, intelligence level, etc. All of those things matter, and the reasons people don't have many friends are nearly as varied as the people. I'd be happy to messenger with you, though, to see if I could give you a better idea.

Some people don't know how to treat others. Sometimes it is good not to have friends. Friends can betray you in the worst way. Pick up your Bible and Read about your unconditional friend or just deal with not having friends and go on with your life. Why do you think that you don't have friends?

Because whoever you know, doesn't want to talk to you. I just finished a temp assignment and no one talked to me during the 8 1/2 day job. The way the other temps perceive me as quiet and no one wanted to talk to me not even on the first day when i didn't wear headphones. (it was a wherehouse job). I didn't care becuasue they saw me as not a social person and they didn't want to get to know me better. Social skills have to be developed early, but you have to have at least one friend (i do) , so I hope that you do find a friend.

Personally, I think depression has a lot to do with not having friends. Its not that you don't want friends, right? Self esteem plays a huge role as well. I'm sure you are nice. Depression hurts.

Look at that! So far it looks like you've made a couple new friends in the past few minutes! :)

All by getting yourself out there and interacting in a sincere way. Might work in real life too, no?

Here is a link you may want to explore.......... try to treat others how you would like to be treated, think before you act, reach out for others and do not always focus on it, you will never meet your standards. It is sort of like if you always worry about being on time and/or think about it, you never will be on time you will always be late or early.
