If a girl can't understand that her man needs football and friends in his life, then she's obviously high maintenance (not to mention a sucky girlfriend). In this case, football is more important than the girlfriend.
A real man likes football and doesn't give into his girlfriend's whims to not watch football and do a bunch of sissy stuff. A sissy guy will of course give into her whims for attention.
If the girlfriend is reasonable, she will understand that Sundays are for football. In that case, a man should be able to have the best of both worlds.
Of course, if you're talking football and friends versus sexy time with the lady, I'd say go with "girlfriend".

Well, I don't give three quarters of a shite about football.
I should be able to count a girlfriend among my friends. I should also hope that I already care more about her than anyone... and that she's not some life-devouring lamprey who demands I stop caring about everything else I care about so I can spend all my time on her.

Football and friends of course. Girlfriends are cool sometimes, but then they just nag or try to change you. Friends and football are always fun.

football and friends, cuz then u just chill with ur friends and have fun.
when ur with ur girl, then u have to keep a conversation running,make them feel better, give them compliments, act nice and sweet with them, keep them happy and entertained.
