I feel unbalanced if I step on a crack in the pavement - have to find one for the other foot to even myself out.
I have to move round people clockwise, if I go the wrong way it stays with me and I have to right it.
The volume on my tv has to be on an even number, in my car it has to be a multiple of 5.
I obsess about lining things up.
I can't wear a ring on one finger without wearing one on the same finger on the other hand.
My DVDs are ordered by age restriction, then alphabetically (drives me mad if they're out of order, I only have about 30 DVDs so this isn't too intrusive).
If I crack one knuckle, I have to crack the opposite one.
I have a set way of eating chocolates and they just aren't right if I eat them wrong.
I have to load my car boot from the left back corner, my other half takes pleasure in loading wrong to annoy me!
There are more that I don't even notice so it's hard to think of them.
Who else does these things, and what else do you do?

I also count the steps as I go up stairs!
Another thing I thought of is checking details time and time again, I lock my car 3-4 times just so I know it's done, if I copy something down like an address I have to check and re-check and check again...

I don't do this with glasses but if I'm drinking from a bottle the brand label has to be facing away from me, facing the front.

Oh college work drives me mad, it takes twice as long as it should do because one mistake I can tippex but 2 makes it look messy and I have to start the page again.
Nobody seems to be as bad as me! Although strangely I've never had the cleaning thing, just billions of other ticks!

Further to lining things up I too line things up both against each other and against grain on a carpet/tablecloth, or once a colleague caught me lining up chocolate fingers on the lines of a page on my notepad! It's embarrassing at work!

The only thing I compulsively do is check for my keys AFTER I slammed the door. Completely useless.

I have tendencies - Checking locked doors is my thing. Not all doors, just when I have to lock doors that don't belong to me. For instance if I have to go out of the office where I work I'll have to check the door it 2 or three times just to make sure it's locked. I've seen me drive off in the car and go back to check the door, just to make sure! If I'm leaving with someone I'll sometimes ask them to check that I've locked the door properly. I don't do this all the time, (it's definitely worse when I'm pre-menstrual) and it's not all doors - it's not a problem when I'm at home or staying with family or in hotels, etc - it mostly when I'm working. Maybe I should retire!

I won't have any volume control at a prime number.
I do the boot thing that You speak of.
Everything has to be in line(it's easier on the eye).
I check locked doors more than once, on occasion i've turned back 2 miles to check the door, I also check the front door everytime i walk past it.
When I use the gas hob, i check every dial, even though i've only used one.
I need to watch comedy programs at meal times.

I understand!!! I do many of these things too...
The volume thing is a quirk that I possess... my boyfriend and his friends like to annoy me by putting it on "35" when I stopped at "34".
Everything has to be in a straight line- especially for card games, and the line has to match the grain of the carpet/table.
I have to leave the house on a quarter hour... I don't know why... I just feel wrong leaving at any other time...
My OCD tendancies are harmless for the most part, so it's all good...
Hehe... anyway, I've got to go...

I'm terrible with OCD tendencies!!! I too have to count the steps when I go up/down them. I have 13 which is meant to be unlucky.
My kitchen utensils HAVE to be lined up in a certain order otherwise I feel really uncomfortable.
I have to check my front door is locked over and over again, I can do it several times before I go to bed and still get up to check and re-check it again!!!
Things in my house HAVE to be symmetrical.
I have to eat fruit sweets in the same order every time, green, yellow, orange, red and then the black ones.
I think I have just too many to mention them all !!!!

I'm just going to be very specific and give one example-I have a lot of obsessions/rituals regarding my PC/Internet usage.I have an overwhelming urge to feel in control, and often check things in a certain manner.I'm better than I was a year or so ago,but I still get freaked out by things going wrong, especially when I don't know what the cause is.

Same as you about the knuckles aswell, and if there is anything on my desk, it has to be in a certain place.
Oh, and just remembered, if I bite my nails (trying to stop!!) then I cant only do one hand
Good qu. by the way!

Wow that's quite a lot!
I can't eat fruit unless it's cut up, like psically won't eat it. Also I can't use tablespoons, has to eb a teaspoon even to eat with. My friend also does the car radio thing, another friend has to use toilet roll in multiples of 2 and someone else I know has to arrange anything colour-wise in accordace to shades of the rainbow, even if some colours are missng.

With me it's a number thing, everything must be divisible by a certain number, if it's not I get a real feeling of doom.
I also have the cracks in the pavement thing.
Looking at your list though, I feel really normal.
