I'm totally kidding. I'm a Christian, but I just like to bring out the whack-o's and see how many will try and save me. Gospel Shirley is winning the 10 points so far. . . . . .

Sorry Shirley, but Calvin has now taken the lead for the whack-job position.

You might be kidding, but I do not believe that God takes your words too lightly. If you are truly a Christian, then you had better get more concerned about getting those saved who truly need to be saved, rather than trying to make jokes about wanting to serve the very one who wants you and everybody else to burn in Hell; Satan. Seems to me like you just want to try and be funny; about the most important matter that you will ever be faced with; where you will spend eternity. If I were you, I believe that I would want to have another talk with Jesus. That is if you have ever had one with Him to begin with.

Satanism is a religion based upon the philosophy of Anton Szandor LaVey as outlined in The Satanic Bible and other works.

"Satan" is appropriated as a positive symbol of this worldview, an archetype or the ultimate symbol of the self and egotism. LaVey explains that Satan is only a symbol in an interview with Washington Post magazine.

"Satan is just a symbol, nothing more," LaVey says. "Satan signifies our love of the worldly and our rejection of the pallid, ineffectual image of Christ on the cross."

The seeds for Satanism were planted in the 1950s, when LaVey and several others formed a group known as the Order of the Trapezoid; the group worked with a combination of magic and LaVey's hedonistic, egotistic philosophy (see article [1]). Seeking to change the world with his ideas, LaVey later decided that only a religion, and not a mere philosophy, would be sufficient to do so; with this in mind, he founded the Church of Satan in 1966. Three years later, in 1969, LaVey wrote and published The Satanic Bible.

Satanism is often mistaken as being a religion that encourages cruelty and irresponsible behaviour, but LaVey's brand is very different. Central is the idea inherited from Nietzsche that an individual must enforce his own meaning on life and rise above the perceived conformity of the masses. The Satanist is seen as equivalent to Nietzsche's Übermensch; LaVey claimed "Satanists are born, not made" and that "[Satanists] have a disease called independence that needs to be recognised just like alcoholism." There is a libertarian element here; diversity is encouraged, everyone is expected to discover their own sexuality, chart their own personality, and decide their own ambitions in life. In this stress on individuality, Satanism is considered a "Left-Hand Path" religion

Okay. Don't check The Satanic Verses. That's a work of fiction by Salmon Rushdie that has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with Satanism.

Rather, check out The Satanic Bible by Anton LaVey (which I'm sure is what the answerer meant). That's kind of the root text, though there are certainly many others.

Although your not serious, I'll answer the question anyway

Personally, I don't think that you should, but that's none of my business.

To worship Satan, depends on how one classifies Satan.

The Christian definition of Satan does not actually agree with the Church of Satan's definition.

If you were serious you might want to research it on the Internet such as google or Wiki

Satan is a religious spirit. Check out the world's great religions including Christianity. The anit-Christ can show himself in every religion; but he hides in Christianity and people who are not fully separated from the world.

You started the moment you were conceived, just like the rest of us. satan has "blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God." Only by a miracle of God's grace can you escape his snare and repent.

What rationale would you have for that one? Better make sure you really want to take that path. From what I understand satanist do not really worship satan , so I am not sure where you would actually start. Good luck in your quest.

Actually, this is a question for YOU, Why on earth would you side with him if you actually dont know where to start? he just lies to you anyway, hes damned to hell, he wants to get souls to keep him there longer, because the more souls he decieves and steals the longer his inevitable doom is held back. banished forever in hell

You dont have to start anything. BY having that desire, you have already chosen the devil as your master. and he will take you to the pits of destruction of hell as you worship him.
I pray one day you will realize God gave you life, and only God can take it away, and God wants to save you and take you to Heaven. Why would anyone choose Hell, and whether you believe it or not, thse are the only two options. ONce you get into devil worship, its so hard to get out. He is a powerful enemy. But, God is even more powerful. The longer you are in it, the harder it is to get out. Check out the ministry for shattered men in Munsey Indiana. They help ppl, deliver them. Just a thought.
I pray you will turn this around before its too late. Devil offers power, but its power to destroy YOU. sure wouldnt want a best friend or master of someone who wants my destruction.
Chose God while you stil have time.....
