Forcing anyone to do anything against their will is illegal. However, if you are a minor, then you are expected to respect the wishes of your parents or guardians. If that includes church, then be respectful of their wishes.

only if they try to teach you to use spell check.
"Illegal" is the word.

I don't think making you go to church is illegal. I know how you feel, but I turned out all right. Just sarchastic and sensitive about spelling. I think that catholic school did push me into teaching. I wanted to make sure that some kids could get through school with an enjoyable learning experience. Good catholics now attend the "Church of the Holy Mattress" when they get older. Tough call, but not illegal... sorry!

Parents have a legal right to force their minor children to go to church with them.

If your parents force you to go to church and you are under age 18, no, it is not illegal.

Assuming you mean illegal, no one can force yout o do anything provided you are over the age of 18. If you are a minor, you should try talking it over with your parents, though you do live under their roof (presumably).

Who is bringing what forces to bear on whom? If someone puts a gun to your head and tells you to go to church, yes that is force and that is illegal. Nothing short of that is force.

I think it would be foolish trying to get the god of the sea to go to a Church. Anyways what are you doing here don't you have an ocean to command

are you meaning your parents? Who are you speaking of?
If someone came to your house and said "you must go to church or else", they cant do that. Im sure that would be considered illegal! Plus remember God never forces anyone to do what He asks.....

If someone forces you to go ANYWHERE you don't want to go (unless of course they have a warrant) then it's illegal. I'm just curious though, how are they forcing you? Are they tying you up and carrying you there?
