ok there actually are five girls in my bio class with curly hair (including me) well we were comparing length differences between curly and straight strands the first girl named haley measured one of her curls putting a ruler at the root and measuring then pulling it straight and pulling it, she strated at one foot and went to one foot and 1/2 an inch, ok so then terry did it and she gained 1 inch mary gained a 1/2 inch and kaeysha gained 2 inches well my hair gained 4 1/2 inches, they kinda made me feel weird like my curls were little and deformed i dunno i was just wondering if anyone else wanted to share their measurements or opinions is my hair abnormal or are there curls just lame lol

i gain about 2 -3 inches when I staighten my hair. Your hair probably just has a tighter curl than those other girls. I am not gonna say Congratulations for having curlier hair, cuz I know how difficult it is to have really curly hair. Plus I hate it when people say "You are so lucky to have curly hair, I have to perm my hair...". Anyways who cares what they think? Those girls are probably just jealous that your hair, when straight, is probably longer than theirs.

Natraully Curly hair Is nice when its straightened once in a while. TIP: While using the straightener Always start from your roots

Your curls are probably tighter, so when straightened are longer. Not abnormal, just your hair.

your hair is just curlier that is cool taht you fet to have such long hair and it still looks short
