I'm a pretty shy person too, I don't make friends easily and usually just hang out with my own close friends. If you want to make friends with these people, just talk to them. Ask them how there doing, or if the saw the latest movie, or if they like so and so's music. If you don't get anywhere and none of them seem interested, just stick to your closest friends, because they are always there for you. Hope that helps!
