Mines a bit like that. I backcomb and spray it, or wear a hairband.

I have the same problem. What I do is when my hair is still wet after a shower, I use a small amout of hairspray, jell, or mouse(whatever you choose) and apply that to just the roots(underside of hair too) and then blow dry my hair. I flip my hair over, so I am looking at the floor and begin at the roots and work down to the ends. Use the lowest setting so you don't get frizzy hair. This will help give you some body to your hair. You can also try using a blowdryer with a brush type curler(or attachment)and work from the roots to the ends of your hair and this will give some curl(at the ends)and help with some body.

ideal for a 'bob' or short spiky cut....my hair is fine like baby hair and takes so much 'product' to keep in place that i have resulted in a short cut..looks brilliant and really make is look thicker and full of body.( i had long hair down my back in 97- all gone now and i don't regret losing the 'rats tails'! Try a new colour but not blonde on dark...old hat now! try 'ragging' your hair like Maria from coronation street( god I'm sad)...go to a good hairdresser and ask frankly if he/she had 'free run' what he/she would do! even a 'weave' perm would add body without too many curls etc!... //(*_*)\\

A lot of my clients that have the same problem are absolutely in love with the salon brand Big and Sexy.... they have a whole line from shampoo, to root pump, and hair sprays... the whole line is made to add volume to hair such as yours... You might also try getting a body wave perm, this would help to add a foundation to make your styles last longer during the day....good luck!

If you have longer hair, consider having it cut short, the weight of the hair is probably making it limp. ask a hairstylist to recommend a cut that would suit you. They may add layers which can add body and volume to fine hair such as yours.

wash your hair, lightly towel dry it, put some setting lotion through your damp hair and put your hair in either magnetic or plastic mesh salon type rollers, try to let your hair air dry, when your hair is dry remove rollers and instant curl, waves or volume depending upon what size of rollers used to set your hair with
small rollers tight curls , medium rollers looser curls/ waves , jumbo rollers volume/loose waves
