That's a little too simple. But if we kill off all the wildlife, which exists in a complex ecosystem that needs ALL its parts to run successfully, then humans will die, too. Or it'll be like Zion in the Matrix, all dirty sweaters and vitamin slop to eat. I don't want that, do you?

Protecting wildlife ultimately protects humans. So, for the sake of us all, we need to be more environmentally conscious.

The number of wild animals that I am willing to shovel into the fire to save one baby is beyond counting.
