i have a question about mr2 brakes...... i was wondering if the front brakes or the rear brakes are the ones that get worn out.....which ones do what ??? the car is rear wheel drive so im not sure... does anybody have one or know for sure which ones id need to change?? thanks

I know that my MKI, 1986 model, seems to wear the fronts out more frequently that the rears. It's fairly easy to change the pads on either end of the car though. And unless you let the pads get really worn to the point where they start scoring the rotors, the rotors should be all right and you shouldn't have to turn them when you change pads. I bought Repco metal master brake pads the last two times and have had great luck with them. The stock pads are fine too...they just don't seem to last as long.
