I need to say I love and to hear it said to me; is it too weird?

no, you just like to know that he loves you but then agian it sounds like you are lacking somthing in your life, maybe you just need some romance or call up your family or get a dog or something, they give you losts of love and effection

Everyone wants to be loved and have someone to love. so saying i love you is not weird.
As long as you don't need to hear it after every sentence, that would be annoying.

Not at all. Trust me I don't believe in love but recently I had started to. Then it ended in flames. But don't worry if it is love you want find it where it is true. When you find this you can say it without wait.
