Weight Watchers have been around forever.....i joined for about 3 months for the first time after i had my first baby. I joined because I couldn't lose the baby fat, I just could not loose the last 15 or so pounds and stuck at around 125 - 127 pounds. I just wanted to get back to my regular 112 - 115 pound range. It took me less than 2 months to lose at least 10 pounds!
I loved weight watchers! I was amazed at how much you could eat and still lose weight. Plus it gets you back on track to eating healthy foods and making healthier choices, and you are in total control of what you eat, just so long as you keep it within your points range which is very easy to do.....you still lose weight!
Another added bonus of weight watchers is that you can carry over points that you don't use.....so you can save for a special outing/occasion.
The meetings are very informative as well, with lots of hints and recipes that are shared, among the other members or if you just need a bust of encouragement!
Every week you weigh in and are given more food choices and new recipes! its really great!! you really look forward to each week, it is that encouraging!
Well hope this helps, take care...
Wish you and your baby all the very best!

I lost 20 pounds and have kept it off for 18 years, I still follow the maintenance program, it works well and its a lifestyle not a diet a program you can live with for life. That's why I'm a lifetime member and still active at meetings It took be 4-5 months

I like the program, i am trying it now I weighed 220 when I first started the program about 1 month ago and have lost about ten pounds. I have not been using it like I should though.. I hope you have a great success in whatever you do. Congratulations on your new baby....

Hello I am currently on weightwatchers.I am doing it online as my life is pretty busy with three kids so I feel I can fit in like this. I have done the meetings and I feel it is better. The reason I say this is that I feel chuffed when I am congratulated each week i feel supported etc..Dont be put off by meetings, the leader will never ever go mad at you if for instance you gained..also nobody else sees anything, the scales are discreet, your leader can only see how much you weigh and then will talk to you without anyone hearing. I feel the meeting gives you more incentive to try and lose that week and also you do get support so please dont feel frightened in going!!! I hope this helped..good luck & best wishes

It's great but you have to be committed. My wife and I used the program and we lost a total of 120 lbs in 6 months. Ya we were big. But that was a year and a half ago and we still feel and look good. May the points be with you.

Good food, good healthy eating,I lost aprox.100Lbs. on it a bunch of years ago.Need to go again, however I hate the meetings.A bunch of little and big women, mostly yipping and yapping about technical ways of cooking and baking, drives me nuts since I hardly know how to fry balony or boil eggs. You'll enjoy it though, especially since you will need to be healthy for your new little person soon to be.Wish you and your little person well in life.
