If your boyfriend is old enough to work and support himself, then he will be considerate and politely decline your offer to even consider supporting him. If you truly love him & he loves you, then both of you will know that you have to love and support YOURSELVES first. Be very careful of CODEPENDENCY, it can steal away your most logical reasoning. If you don't know what codependency is then the following maybe of use.

Only for a short period of time. maybe 4 weeks. Give him a chance. If he can't get a job in 4 weeks tell him to hit the road.

If he helps you with the house and laundry, things that need to be done at least he is doing something constructive , but if he is not helping and is not looking for a job then NO..

no! well thats kinda mean huh? i'd give him one week to find a job. a job is a job even if it is at wal-mart or burger king. there are no disrespectable jobs if you are supporting yourself. but don't let him live off you for free. you already knew the answer to your question or you would'nt have asked it!

Are yall MARRIED???

If not, then why would you provide free sex, shelter, and food to man who hasnt even made you his wife? Do you 2 live togther? If so, then you would be a fool to support some man who doesnt even pay you the respect to marry you.

You should stick behind him 100% UNLESS this looks (or feels) like it will become a habitual problem.

It depends on why he's not working. If it's to persue other avanues, like school, that's one thing. If it's because he 'didn't feel like working', that's a problem.
