Your driver's license is a contract you agree to when you earn and receive it. The agreement is that you will drive safely and surely obeying all the rules of the road so that everyone remains reasonably safe while getting to where they're going in a reasonable amount of time. In that sense, the person who you encountered was a criminal, breaking the contract, making him a dishonest, immoral person, to some degree. In the situation when an upstanding citizen is faced with a criminal, the choice of action is clear: avoid that person at all costs, report him to the police, and let them handle it.
Honking your horn should be a warning to incautious drivers, not a punishment for criminal drivers. The criminal driver could easily turn into a criminal attacker, as they are lower than animals in their quest for death for themselves and others. You shouldn't take the criminal's behavior personally, as they are insane thoughtless creatures. That's why we have police to deal with them.
To become angry and possibly even attempt to intervene or punish would be to cross the line into bestiality yourself. The use of force is never advocated except in the case of abject self-defense. You wouldn't try to wrestle a bank robber with a gun, nor would you go into the bank after him to demand some cash for yourself.

That was probably ME. see, I was signaling my intentions, but YOU sped up to try and block my entry, so I darted in front of you anyway. Then you got mad because, well, I guess you're a mean driver.
This scenario happens almost every day for me, so I don't signal anymore and go where I plan to go.

I just try to remember that everyone makes mistakes. Even while driving. Don't give people that kind of power over you especially since you don't know them.

I had that happen to me. I was in front of him and he pulled out in front of me and was angry with me. When we stopped at a light he got out of his car and started yelling at me.
I thought that he was going to try to break my window.
He didn't, he just got back into his truck and drove off.
