Spme loudmouths are shouting that the "truth" about Islam is that its evil, that it was a fraud that Mohammed used to control people, and he was an evil madman who killed.....well I say where is the proof? Surely theres some historical documentation of these things? I'm not gonna listen to some whino with a degree go, "He was a bad bad man".....based on what? Can anyone show some proof?
Anything written in the 20th century doesn't count by the way......
..........and I know that crap they are saying is bullshit

there's no evidence, just allegations made by the Islam haters.
History proves other wise and many non Muslim scholars already know the truth and wrote books about the Life of Prophet Muhammad describing how great this man was.

Dear Whattupfo:
Since the 21st Century has just begun and you will not allow any books by scholars from the 20th century to be used as documentation of the bloodshed by Muhammad - you don't leave much for anyone to say. . . honestly, do you now? One of your Answerers, Onewhosub says he is a Muslim and that Muhammad warred against unbelievers. BUT, he is wise. He also said to you if people read the Qu'ran they can judge for themselves. I agree with this person, completely.
Since you have said the 21st century material is all you will accept, try Wikipedia on the link shown from another of your Answerers called, Monika. Clearly, it states under the Sub-Heading "Continued Warfare," " Following the Muslim victory at the Battle of the Trench, the Muslims were able - through conversion and CONQUEST - to extend their rule to many cities and tribes.
That period of conversion and conquest was bloody beyond imagination. While the Koran is holy in its teachings, Muhammad was, in 627 approximately, a conqueror - via the Sword.
This is from a 21st Century Encyclopedia and the same truth was written by scholars in the 1900s (Remember that era. .? We just left those years) !
Enjoy the enlightenment and peace you find in the Koran - but, Muhammad lived a life that contained morally worrisome actions.

An overview might be helpful before we begin. Islam started when Muhammad, a seventh century Arab, purported to be the Messenger of God. That much we know for sure. The Qur'an, he claimed, was a series of revelations he received directly from a nameless Lord.
The inspirational experience was described by Muhammad to be like a bell, clanging in his head, causing him to shake and sweat profusely. These rather nasty experiences continued, he said, until he was able to decipher the message. Thus the Qur'an, Muslims believe, is God's revelation to man through his final and most important prophet.
Yet only Muhammad heard these “revelations.” He offered no evidence of his divine inspiration—we take the Qur'an solely on his word. The Bible, by comparison, had forty authors, all literate, who told a consistent story over the course of fifteen centuries. Muhammad, who was admittedly illiterate, acted alone in the formation of Islam and is alleged to have invented his religion over the course of twenty-two years.

you realize not something of our lives, not something of our paths. How plenty attempt does a deity that could do something and each thing might desire to furnish real looking evidence of their existence? If claims in an previous e book have been sufficient then there may well be an destructive lot of gods and goddesses obtainable.

There is no such proof. The Prophet was able to convert a barbaric polytheistic people and put them upon the path of the righteous. The Prophet brought law to the lawless and mercy to the down trodden.

Muhammad was one of few TRUE warriors. Like Malcolm X. Who fought when
young, and found the wisdom in peace as he got older.
Muhammad taught to give quarter in battle. Mercy, not kicking a man when he is down.
And he forbade mutilation.
The Quran calls those who create mischief and shed innocent blood the ZULM!

I am Muslim, and I know there was wars that took place against the unbelievers. Like all messengers before him, the last and final messenger had to put up with alot of discrimination. Especially from the Quraish tribe. If you would really like to know then read the Qu'ran for yourself, and make your own decision.
May Allah guide you to the truth.
[005:014] And from those who call themselves Christians, We took their covenant, but they have abandoned a good part of the Message that was sent to them. So We planted amongst them enmity and hatred till the Day of Resurrection (when they discarded Allâh's Book, disobeyed Allâh's Messengers and His Orders and transgressed beyond bounds in Allâh's disobedience); and Allâh will inform them of what they used to do.
[005:015] O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians)! Now has come to you Our Messenger (Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]) explaining to you much of that which you used to hide from the Scripture and pass over (i.e. leaving out without explaining) much. Indeed, there has come to you from Allâh a light (Prophet Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]) and a plain Book (this Qur'ân).
[005:016] Wherewith Allâh guides all those who seek His Good Pleasure to ways of peace, and He brings them out of darkness by His Will to light and guides them to the Straight Way (Islâmic Monotheism).
[005:017] Surely, in disbelief are they who say that Allâh is the Messiah, son of Maryam (Mary). Say (O Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]): "Who then has the least power against Allâh, if He were to destroy the Messiah, son of Maryam (Mary), his mother, and all those who are on the earth together?" And to Allâh belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them. He creates what He wills. And Allâh is Able to do all things.

You need look no further than the Quran itself, and the Hadiths of Islam. Neither were written in the 20th century, or are the product of some AMerican plot. Thay are the words of Mohammed and his believers:
Qur’an:47:4 : “When you clash with the unbelieving Infidels in battle (fighting Jihad in Allah’s Cause), smite their necks until you overpower them, killing and wounding many of them. At length, when you have thoroughly subdued them, bind them firmly, making (them) captives."
FIGHT THEM: ALLAH WILL PUNISH THEM BY YOUR HANDS AND BRING THEM TO DISGRACE, AND ASSIST YOU AGAINST THEM. (9:14)
I WILL CAST TERROR INTO THE HEARTS OF THOSE WHO DISBELIEVE. THEREFORE STRIKE OFF THEIR HEADS AND STRIKE OFF EVERY FINGERTIP OF THEM. THIS IS BECAUSE THEY ACTED ADVERSELY TO ALLAH AND HIS MESSENGER;(8:12-17)

So, I take ityou haven't actually read his biography, but just the dogma your religious leaders spout.
If you refuse to believe the truth about him, we cannot force you. However, He made his nephew divorce his wife in order for mohammed to be able to havesex with her, he had 2 men killed in order for him to be able to legally have sex with their wives, He had numerous slaves( but then, all rich men did then so I don't count that) he ordered the murder of whole groups of peoples and villages simply because they would not follow his teachings. He plagarized andcopied things from other religions and groups and called them his ideas.
