I give my kids Mortin instead of the Tylenol. I have found that the Motrin ( for the babies) works the best. It lasts a lot longer than the Tylenol. I would give your child some Mortrin and then try to comfort him as best as you can. You can put an ice pack or warm wash cloth onto the shot site.....it will help with the pain.
Sometimes my kids are fine with the shots, sometimes not. It just depends on what they got really. I was also told that you should give the Motrin/ Tylenol for 2-3 days after they got the shots because of pain and discomfort.
I hope this helped and I hope your little one feels better soon.

Everyone always uses tylenol. I did too until a friend of mine told me to try childrens motrin. That works so much better and faster. These shots are probably bothering him because they were a different series of shots. My daughter was fine with some and had a reaction to others. Make sure he dont get a real high fever(above 102) Give him a nice bath. That should help calm him. Dont wash him or nothin, just let him play.

often while people get sick upon getting the flu shot is by technique of the fact they already had the virus in them, becaues of the long incubation time they do no longer know it till while they get the shot. Or the physique is combating off a smaller volume of the flu interior the physique and then while injected with the flu shot the physique can no longer conflict it off, it particularly is effectual and miss while it comprises getting a flu shot. If the temperature returned reaches 103 i could bypass forward and take your son to the ER or see the scientific professional interior the morning. you oftentimes do no longer prefer the fever to recover from 103.

tylenol and maybe a warm bath...the spots where he got the shots may be tender too...just try to avoid those spots...he'll be fine in the next day or two...sometimes the shots can cause a slight fever!

That's too bad..he's probably feeling a little sick since shots do that to ya :-(
Maybe just give him his bath early and put him in his pajamas. Sit and rock him for awhile or read a story to him. He's not really sick, he just feels yucky so just help him feel a little more relaxed and comfortable. I hope he feels better soon :-)
