You need a line level converter or watt reducer as it is called. It converts high level outputs to low level rca. These are cheap and readily available at any Car audio dealer.

Hi. If it has a headphone output, Radio Shack or other electronic stores sell an adapter. 1/8 or 1/4 male to twin RCA female.

PS what they are talking about is a small converter that takes the two-wire + and - going to a each speaker and converts it to RCA. I had one in my first car =P I ran both rear speakers into to it and used the two RCA's coming out of it to signal a mono amp/sub combo.
