I like a guy who is cute, smart, tall, has a job, gentleman, easy going, funny, friendly, likes the same things as me. If a girl smiles at you a lot and likes to talk to you then, most of the time she likes you.

Depends on the person, but to everyone looks are important. They may not be huge, but if you are not physically attracted to someone, I believe you will never see them as anything more than a friend. I love smiles, great personalities, and in my case he has to be taller than me. if a girl likes you she'll flirt with you a lot. She'll make hints to you. Asking about plans and what you like to do. If you think she likes you take the chance and ask her out.

Well I can answer the first part - the main attraction in a man for me is intelligence. Because once someone has that, they normally have a lot else to offer - open-mindedness, good principles/morals, profundity, wit, etc. The only downside to intelligence is that it can make you arrogant, so modesty is always a bonus!

Watch for her being extremely mean or extremely nice to you for no reason.

Look for her eyes to light up when she sees you or hears you or your name.

For the first question, it depends on the girl. Myself I kill for a sweetheart. You will know a girl is attracted to you when she brushes aginst your arm "accidently" , when you catch her staring at you, or when she talks to you she is really touchy or really nervous for no apparent reason. At least thats what I do.
