Well ... yeah it is possible... sometimes they are not transmitted the 1st time. But... how did he get it? He would have had to have stepped out on the relationship to contract this disease.
I would maybe go back to the doctor again in a week or so to see if it has come up yet or not just to be safe....sometimes they don't always show up immediately.
