There are bad people in every religion.
It's hard to say what you would do if you had a gun pointed at your head. You'd think you would do the 'right' thing, but you never know unless it actually happens to you.
I'm not making excuses for her, as she deserves to be prosecuted.

listen to the cd "the eye" by King Diamond--they have done it all already, and nothing they are doing now should surprise you--the cd tells a true story (he includes the historical documents in the CD) of a convent where the priests are drugging the nuns and forcing them to commit infant sacrifices on an inverted cross

may God have mercy on her soul,for her judgment will be so much greater than ours because of her religious calling and position of trust,and I for one will not rejoice over her sentence but in Christian charity will pray for her, and also the souls of those murdered.
