Many people believe that the definition of a normal bowel movement is having 1 movement each day, but that is not true for everyone. There is no rule for frequency of bowel movements, but the general range is from 3 times a day to 3 times a week. Less than 3 movements a week may indicate constipation, and more than 3 watery stools a day could indicate diarrhea.

My doctor says that if I'm eating a healthy diet, and pooping at least three times a week - I'm fine.

Yes it is, pooping is different for every person. Don't be alarmed if it's not every day, some people are like that (including me!) As long as it's a regular thing and not more than 3 days it's ok.

Yes contrary to popular belief, you do not need to poop every day. tou should poop no less than 3 times a week and no more than 3 times a day

Depends on how old you are, it's ok for kids and teens, try stay regular like once a day when you hit 30.

as long as you feel healthy in every other area of your body and you are not missing out on anything in life, i say you are perfectly fine. if you ever get really constipated or have diahrea, see your doctor.

Normal is everyday!
So add more fruit, vegetables and of course make sure you eat breakfast...everyday!
If you need to, take a fiber pill everyday!
So take back control of your life, and strive for what's normal for you.....waste is just that....waste!
