I'd give away a TON!!! Probably half or more. You can't even imagine one billion dolloars!!! I couldn't spend it all!!
I'd probably give a lot to orphanages, Make a Wish, and domestic violence groups. :-)

I would give send of that money 2 my bank account, my mother, BF, I really don't know about my friends cuz that is how u accumulate more friends that u didn't have N the first place, is by telling them that u have $1,000,000,000.

Honestly, I would start by taking care of myself and my family. After getting everything situated I would probably open some kind of charity. When you start a charity it is a gift that keeps on giving. They raise money for the cause you choose and thus continue to assist that cause in the long term. It's like the concept of teaching a man to fish, as opposed to simply giving them a fish.

Yeah, I would give some to my best friends and about a $1.50, just because my parents would say give your brother some! I would also hand out some money to the animal shelter but some other charities too. But I would still keep about, well, a lot of it. Awesome question, I haven't answered any good ones lately.

You better believe it! I'd spend about 6 months just watching people and anonymously send the deserving ones a large check. Then I'd dump some off on deserving official charities. Feels good to do nice things for others. Sure would.

If you won a billion dollars, you could safely give away 90% of the money and never spend all of the remaining 10%. So, yes, I would give away most of the money.

I'd give about 1/2 or 3/4 of it away.. I'd give some to animal shelters and orphanges. Hospitals too if they really needed it

Of course...one billion dollars is a LOT of money. I think it would be important to give to charities that you felt strongly about, as well as churches in need. Of course, keep enough for you and your family, but invest intelligently (i.e. purchase real estate,) and reap the benefits. I think 100 million would be enough for me. The rest could be given away to those who are much more in need than I am.

I would. Half for the poor, then retide in amsterdam. Thats way more money than I would ever need.
