No way lady.
I don't think a loving god would make a hell, at least for most people.

I think if hell is a real place it should make all Christians cry. No one should have to suffer eternal torment. It is not a just punishment for a misspent life. Even Jesus said of Judas, it would have been better if he had never been born.
Perhaps our tears are needed...to rescue some who otherwise would not be saved.
I think God cries too.

Nope. But when I call out the names of the Gods and Goddesses during sumbel and then the names of my ancestors, I feel a tremendous sense of pride. I realize how richly blessed I have been to even have the opportunity to stand before the Gods and give the gift of an offering. My religion is one of the faiths almost wiped out by christianity, so those of us left are blessed indeed!

oh yes....
during Easter when I'm focusing on the Passion of our Lord -- I cry.
during the Christmas Midnight Mass -- i cry
during the closing of the 40 hours devotion - i cry
after HOly THursday mass at the women;s prayer hour - i sob (we stay up with Jesus and pray and pray - it's wonderful)
sometimes at mass i'm so overwhelmed when i'm admitting i'm a sinner with my brothers & sisters, asking their forgiveness -- I cry
often during the Agnus Dei (Lamb of God) -- i cry
more often then not -- after receiving the Holy Eucharist i cry for the sheer beauty of Jesus and all He's given me
sometimes after confession - i cry for the weight is lifted off my shoulders
OH WAIT -- were you talking about concepts that made me cry in a bad way -- then no way!!!
(and to the "man who worships God" poster who was making up stuff about the Catholic church - don't know who lied to you but -- you're waaaaaaaaaaaay off base)

Yes; when teachings have challenged me beyond what I thought I could endure.
Also, there are some things that are simply very precious & dear to my heart; things I discuss with no one. When I hear a message on those very things...that confirm what I know in my heart of hearts, I cry because I believe G-d is addressing something inside me.

Yeah, the concept that my religion is superior to every other , which has sadly resulted in immense human suffering. This is not a unique trait, but something that is ingrained in every religion on this planet.

Sometimes, after I have written something, and I read it. I know it didn't come from me.
And I cry.
"Don't worry what you will say. Because the Holy Spirit will teach you what to say
in that hour!"

Not in sadness. I've shed tears of joy when reflecting the awesome amount of love God has for us - that he would send his son to die for our sins - so that we have the opportunity to spend eternity with him in heaven!
