Go to the hippie store :) Natural Products store and get some earcandles- about 3 bucks or less!. Probably build up (even if you clean 'em all the time). How it works: A muslin-type fabric coated w/beeswax and rolled in a cone, you light the end. The heat and pressure of the smoke loosens clogged waxy stuff and clears the ear canal. Some gew will come out right after, but days following the treatment the stuff will gradually come out. I know it sounds gross but it totally works.

When you yawn, air is sucked out of your middle ear cavity along the Eustachian tube to the back of the nose. The lowered pressure can cause tinnitus from the middle or inner ear. If you have any symptoms of Meniere's disease, especially a feeling of ear blockage, this means the inner ear pressure has dropped. Try ear inflation, GENTLY. Hold nose, puff up cheeks. You should feel the tubes pop as air is forced through.

Might just be wax. Try using a couple of drops of warm olive oil in the ear 2 times a day to loosen any hard wax for a few days and if it doesn't improve see about getting your ear syringed.(it doesn't hurt honest, actually feels quite nice!)

You should consult you GP as he or she will be able to pin point why this happens, however it may have been caused by how loud you play your music from your stereo or your ear phones your eardrums are really sensitive.
