Sex and love go better together, but I think it's a good thing that they can each still be had on their own.
Childbearing is still closely attached to marriage, as it should be... Two parents are better than one.

So you're implying that all three things *should* only be available if you "buy" the marriage package? Sounds like a pretty nasty DRM scheme. Someone notify the antitrust lawyers...

Unfortunately, yes, I believe so. But it doesn't make it right. And I don't think it makes most people happy, no matter what they tell you. As for me, I believe that sex is something that should happen only between a man and a woman within the bonds of marriage. And childbearing will naturally result in most cases! :)

Childbearing isnt something that has to come simply because of sex. I myself am a 30 y/o guy w/o any children.

Humans, like all creatures, have urges which lead to reproduction. Our biological urge is to have sex, not to make babies. Our "instinct to breed" is the same as a squirrel's instinct to plant trees: the urge is to store food, trees are a natural result. If sex is an urge to procreate, then hunger's an urge to defecate.

It seems to be. It is so sad that we are in a society that we just jump into the sack with darned near anyone we please and not willing to accept that this is a very responsible act upon our part. I do not know what they are thinking. I am a victim of my partner living a life where she thought the grass was greener on the other side, without the very thought what would happen with our children. Now they get tossed like a football from here to there so that both of us parents can spend some time with them. My children are not happy at all with this situation and I just don't blame them one bit. It is past time that our society takes another look at the whole free sex thing. It isn't working. AND ITS WRONG !!

Unfortunately, a lot of people think it has. But have you ever noticed that when you buy a meal a la carte, it ends up costing you twice as much?

Yes, it is a thing of the past. Not just that, though, it gets worse. Now we can marry someone of the same sex, or kill the baby before its born for the sake of our selfish convenience, and dissolve a marriage whenever it doesn't amuse us anymore. This is just the tip of the iceberg now anyway, with the democrats in power, heaven help us all.

Sure. Now that marriage has become unnecessary for survival, we can all have sex without love, love without sex, sex without kids, kids without sex, love without kids, and kids without love. I'd take the sex without love and the sex without kids any day.
