My friend asked him out for me even though I told her not to and i know he likes me but he wont ask me out and i am to shy

If you know he likes you, then be patient and wait for him to ask you out. If you can't be patient, then honey, you gotta be brave and ask him out. Do you guys even talk to eachother? Your heart will pound and you'll be scared to death, but if you like him that much, you just gotta do it! Walk up to him and say, "hay, wanna see a movie?" and whatever his answer is, you just say okay, and walk away... then you breathe and calm yourself down. The worst that will happen is he says no. You will still go on living, you might feel hurt but we all learn and grow from the pains we feel, so that we may enjoy the happy moments even better. Life is about happiness and enjoying every single moment of it! Be brave..... You can do it, have faith in yourself!

Then just let ur friend ask him out for u!! Or slip him a note and ask him out if u r shy and can't ask him. Just write a note and ask him to the movies or something. GOOD LUCK!! And don't be afraid to make the 1st move.

Bad thing when your friend does it 4 u .. It seems like a big joke to them and it is eaiser to say no...
Just start a conversation with him and adventually lead up to asking him out.. if u are to shy you arn't in love enough...
you have to decide which is stronger LOVE or Shyness

You really should get over being shy with this guy. Your shy ness might make him go looking else where. If you are that shy drop him a note. Trust me shy ness aint gonna get you any where.

I have asked men out all my life. I am now 53 and with my present partner for 10 years. I asked him out. I knew he liked me, he paid me lots of attention each time we met, and asked me about places I socialized in. Finally one day I just said, "ok Jim, when are we going to go out together on a date?" He was so surprised he said "whenever youwant, how about tomorrow?" and that was it!!

If he doesn't ask you out, there must be a reason. Maybe he has a girlfriend, or he isn't interested. If your friend asked him out for you, he knows you're interested in him so I would wait to see if he shows any interest.
