Get yourself a life, get busy, get so busy that you don't sit still even if its working two jobs, the busier you are the more resentful you will be of this idiot messing you about and taking up your valuable time.................

When you can go a couple of days without thinking about him you have been cured of leaning on him.........then pack one job in and get partying

If you know that you can do better, then what is stopping you. You need to leave him and go and spend some time with your family and friends that love and like you. I think that you also need to be by yourself for a while so that you can sort yourself out and decide what it is that you want out of a relationship. You obviously know what you really want but this boyfriend of yourselves keeps pushing the right buttons. You need to take control and sort yourself out. If you do it now a few months down the line, you will look back and wonder what it was you ever saw in your boyfriend, considering that he is treating you so badly

Everyone has their limits, it has taken me almost 10 years of unfair treatment with my boyfriend to actually "stand up to him", the reason for this is lack of self confidence and being "brain washed" into thinking I didn't derserve any better, unfortunately that was the kind of relationship I was used to having so I just let it carry on with me not being as happy as I know I should.

I reached my limit just Sunday past and have now told my boyfriend exactly how it is and didn't give him a chance to speak...maybe you should do the same.

If he doesn't like what you have to say then maybe he will do you a favour, if he changes then just make sure this is the last chance you give him.

You must not be sick enough of the way he treats you yet. When the pain of leaving him is LESS then the pain to stay with him you will then leave him. Depending on how old you are your taste in men can and will most likely change. What is so bad with being single vs being with someone who treats you as badly as your boyfriend at this time does? I don't think you should be so hard on yourself. Lots of people fall in love with the wrong person. The hardest part is accepting that he is not the one for you. I think at a time like this you need to rely on family and friends to help you get over something like this.
