I guess I thought I was handling the subject with intelligence.
I think it's pretty straight forward. All are welcome, as long as they have the same set of rights and responsibilities as the rest of us.
There is no point in having laws, if we're not going to enforce them. Allowing some people to live beyond the law only makes all of us look like fools.
