depends on the curvature. I think anything under 35 degrees you are fine. Might be a little less though. My father had scoliosis and served 30 plus years.

It really depends on exactly how bad it is. When I went through boot camp at Great Lakes back in 1975 we had a guy with minor scoliosis. They had to medically discharge him before we were half way finished. He had a lot of pain from the training.
They'll catch it for sure when you go for your physical.

It all depends... my fiancee has something to that effect, and he was able to join. You'll just have to take the physical exam and hope for the best! (and my ex-hubby made it into the Army with a metal pin in his hip... but I have heard that the Army has slightly lower standards than the other military factions) Good luck!

No, you're good. I have a bit a spinal curvature myself and was able to get into the Army no problem. The physical exam is conducted at the MEPS center, which is joint military and won't matter what branch of service you are. But in any respect, talk to your recruiter just in case, they face questions like yours every day, just ask them.

Take the physical and find out...sometimes you can get through depending on the serverity.
