It could be that you feel defensless in a certain area (say, school, in the family, at work, et cetera), or as if you're being judged. Maybe the 'cameras' are a manifestation of this unconscious fear. You just have to remind yourself that your mind is making it up, and there are likely no cameras if you're in a private space. Courage!

Many teenagers are overly conscious of their body, but your feelings are getting out of hand if you have to check for cameras all the time. You need to discuss this with someone, your doctor will refer you, it is better to get help now than to let this get any worse. If you have someone close to you that you can tell, then talk to them about it, don't be ashamed, ok? Best wishes x

I would go to your doctor and tell him honestly what is happening. The quicker you get some help the quicker it can be fixed. You are possibly just at that tender age when everyone is self conscious but if you are paranoid about cameras watching you I sincerely advise you go see your doctor. Dont be ashamed, no one will judge you, everyone has something dont they. Take care.

everybody goes through some kind of self conscious dislike for themselves at some stage, especially as you are entering pubity & your hormones are flying !! i bet your mum knows something is bothering you & i also bet she would be proud if you could confide in her.
i was very skinny as a teenager & had skinny legs & a flat chest, i was paranoid that everybody was looking at me to but you have just let the paranoia set in.
try finding somebody to talk to & you will see that you are not the only one.
p.s. i found fake tan on my legs made them look better again try to sit your mum down & tell her how you are feeling.

Don't worry I used to feel exactly the same. In part it's because you are growing up and becoming more self conscious. Don't be embarrassed about talking to your parents, they will be glad you talked to them. One thing that will help is learning how to feel more relaxed but you really need someone to show you how to do this. If your parents aren't sure who could help, you're doctor will.
Don't suffer in silence. I really hope you feel better soon.

check with the Health Dept. for referral to a mental health clinic - paranoia is really nothing to ignore. Try to remember you are NOT earthshakingly important ( unless you really are) and that there is no reason for everyone to want to know your every move.
If there is a real reason you feel threatened, ask the police for help.

Talk to your doctor and be honest with him, if you are having thoughts or ideas that people are trying to get you or hurt you then you may need his help or referral to a child psychiatrist or psychologist. There is NO shame in seeking help!

im not sure hwat to do, maybe you should just try and be confident- what does it matter if there is a camera in the room? just get on with it and put it out of your mind.
I know its not much but its worth a try.

It sounds like, maybe u feel like you've got something to hide? that a camera will see a part of u that your trying to hide. Or maybe simply that you don't like being watched. Maybe u need to get over the fear of yourself being watched, film yourself with the camera in full view, then watch it, ..might help,

Pretend you're a famous star on a reality show. Or stop watching TV.
