First of all, the best way to lose weight and KEEP IT OFF is to engage in a lifestyle change - not a "diet", not a sudden burst of non-stop gymnastics - but a change in how you eat and staying active. Remember this extremely basic reality -- if you take in more calories than you burn, you will store the extra calories, and that is what becomes extra weight.

Finding an exercise regimine that you know you can stay with and ENJOY is a key. Aerobics will burn calories while you work out, and then doing work with weight resistance will build lean muscle mass which increases your resting metabolic rate (you can burn more calories while you're just sitting there).

Slow and steady weight loss is the most effective way to KEEP IT OFF. 20 Kg in two months is a bit ambitious. Setting realistic goals will keep you on track and will keep you encouraged. The key, again, is that you said you wanted to keep it off -- slow and steady and healthy --- that will help you lose it and keep it off.

Very best of luck to you!

20 Kg is a lot to lose in 2 months, but let me just tell you that losing weight and NEVER gaining it back is not about dieting, its not about starving, and its not about forcing yourself to exercise each day. Its all about a LIFESTYLE change. Once you have made the decision that you are sick of the fat, you can make the appropriate changes in your life that will get you to your goal weight. If you are ready to make some sacrifices and put in a lot of hard work (remember, no pain no gain!) then you will be able to lose weight at a HEALTHY pace and will eventually reach a point where you can enjoy your favorite foods in moderation and are happy with your figure.

Step 1 is to figure out what youre putting into your body. Right now, start writing what you've eaten and do this for the next 1 week. Study the items you've written, you can even check their nutritional content on a website like www.calorielab.com Keeping ajournal of your food intake will really open your eyes to what and how much food you put into your body

Step 2 get on an exercise regimen, this all depends on your current health level, do whatever you can to get moving. If you're a member of a gym then make the treadmill your best friend. I am trying to lose weight and I hit the treadmill on a daily basis. There is a wealth of information on the internet about different exercise programs but its very simple: burn more than you eat, eat in moderation, and make sure you are exercising enough to sweat!

Step 3: SLOWLY and I mean SLOWLY make changes to your diet. Dont cut out your favorites suddenly or you will feel so deprived and unhappy that you will give up all together! Start giving yourself smaller servings of your favorite fatty foods and take bigger servings of the "healthy" foods. You will get used to them, believe me...I did. You may have to restock your pantry and buy new foods. Stay away from processed stuff. The only stuff you should eat from a box/can on a regular basis is oatmeal! Apple Spice oatmeal is great and doesn't taste like gruel. So anyways, make your eating choices gradually and eat fruit often. When you fill up on fruit, you are less likely to grab a candy bar.

I hope this helps, good luck to you. If you believe you can lose weight, then you certainly can!

The first thing to do is be realistic about how much you should weigh. You say you are 163 cm, to be in the healthy weight range for your height you should be 50-66kg. If you are of average build, a good weight to be would be 58kg. Consider aiming for 66kg first, you might find that it suits you (more people look better with a little extra weight) and it's more manageable in the long term.

Forget about the 2 months target. It's impossible and could end up making you even heavier if you can't keep to it.

To keep weight off you can't diet. You need to change the way you eat forever. Try to eat small portions of healthy food. It will be very difficult at first but keep trying. You'll keep falling off the wagon but keep getting back on. I think it would take you at least a year of trying to eat healthily on a regular basis. Being healthy is much more important than being thin.

Even more useful is getting regular exercise. Walk for 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes in the evening. That will make more difference than what you eat.

Ok, ready, breathe, and now take a deep breath, relax.

You may not like this but.....that's ok.

1. Find out what's eating you.....yes what's bugging you...it's not what you eat...it's what's eating you!

2. If you can make a list of what you like about people you admire...their attributes...and list what attributes you have in common.

3. Then make a list of what you don't like....people, attributes, places, things...and most of all what's bugging you.

4. Take the list of don't likes...when you're finished, and tear it up and throw it away....it did it's job by making you face...for a little bit of what's bugging you , and now you're taking back control.

5. Exercise - ready for this....smile every time you pass a mirror, yes big smile....and you're beginning to get the idea...that the person who really, really matters in life is you...yes YOU!

6. I think if you add walking....yes when you park in a shopping mall or anywhere....pick the parking spot the farthest from where you want to be....so forcing you to walk a little more each day...And try going up the stairs, for at least 3 to 5 minutes more each day....yes...a little each day goes a long way.

7. Add breakfast every day, yes cheerio's and non-fat milk, and fruit....every day got that?

8. Add more fruit and vegetables...gives you energy and fiber....speaking of which start taking 1 fiber pill every day...to get rid of the excess body waste.......we all have it!

9. Drink more water.

10. Forget, yes forget, white sugar, white flour, and white bread.
Add...splenda for sugar 0 calories, whole flour, and 8-12 grain bread.....you're getting more nutrition....and what's that word I keep suggesting...fiber!

11. Ask....ok call me corney....GOD to help you find out what's bugging you. Now really put GOD to the test and ask GOD to remove toxic people and toxic things from your life.....GOD loves challenges...remember about parting the Red Sea, and turning water into wine......no challenge is too big.

12. If you don't feel close to GOD (regardless of any religion), who moved?

13. Keep smiling......every day...and you'll be a happier, more accepting person....to be around also.

14. Tell no one that you're trying to gain control of your life, and you're weight....it's not their concern....and it is being done for the most important person in the world, YOU!

Sounds uninteresting, however I´m attempting it the next day to come. Hope it really works
