somebody is going to say, for God it's only a tenth of a second....So If he's God why does it take him a tenth of a second....

Because God is all powerful and can do anything he wants to! That is why! God , if he wanted to could have taken a 6/7 of a second but then we would only get to rest 1/7 of a second. You want to know more?

It's worse than that! I hear some Godly people are back-pedaling and insisting one of God's "days" was equivalent to billions of years! Go figure what a slow-poke that makes God!

I thought time didn't matter either, since God is eternal and whatnot. And what are days to God? Why not just say 'POOF' ...all was made in snap of the fingers!?

God took his time creating the earth, to make sure everything was the way He wanted it. I know that He could've only taken one day, but He didn't.

Just the way he felt was the proper way to do it and since he's God, he can do anything he pleases, without having to answer to any of us.

If a being is all-powerful and can do anything he wants it would obviously mean he did it exactly like he wanted to and took as long as he wanted to. Not because he was limited but because it was what he wanted to do.
