1- We named our cats after movie characters we liked
2- You would know everytime you went near her
3- you cant stop it but you can brush her regularly
4- let her have under the bed she will come out when she is ready, I have a siamese and he is almost 2 and he still hides on occasion. my mom also has a siamese and also has the same problem, i think siamese cats are skitsy
5- try rubbing a dryer sheet(fabric softener) on your bed and clothes! You can also rub it on the cat herself during winter and prevent static from clinging to her. Plus it will make her and your sheets and clothes smell good!!!

1. Sassafrass
2. If u sneeze , itch or have watery eyes when ur around cats or cat fur u might have allergies
3. Not usually ... Try to get a cat brush that gets the under coat which will cut down shedding... as long as u use the brush on the cat 2-4 times a week i would imagine..
4. Not usually.. cats just want to sleep and get away from everything so they go somewhere safe.. like under the bed...if u put stuff under there so there is no space for the cat then that might work i know it does for my cats..
5. You can't really stop it.. just keep the cat away from there.. .get a lint roller... (sticky one) it will take off the fur ..

1 - Depends upon her personality, but there are lots of websites on them with good name ideas. My first siamese was Ching. I got her when I was 3 years old. I also like Ko Ko or Yum Yum, from the Cat Who Books.
Siamese have wonderful personaliities, and are very dog-like. You can train them to walk on leashes, they talk alot, and are very loyal.
2-Mostly sneezing. Can be controlled with antihystimines.
3- Not really, but frequent brushing helps and good food, with fish oil occasionally.
4 - You cannot unless you just block it with something. Put some of those clothes storage containers under the bed.
5 - Let me know if you figure that one out. I haven't been able to do it and I've had cats for 50 years. It doesn't bother me.

do you mean the color of the cable? if so, no... cat-5 is cat-5 if you mean the pairs there is a standard.... but as long as pin 1 and pin 2 end up with pin 1 and 2... an 3 & 6 end up to 3 & 6.... and 4 & 5 end up to be 4&5 and 7 and 8 end up to 7&8 - you're cool. Cat-5 is a quality standard. You could have a CROSS OVER cable - which is done to cat-5 standards.

I like the name "Kirby". It's cute and light.
Cats LOVE to hide in "private" spaces. They like "alone" time as much as we do. Don't worry about her going under the bed. It IS normal.
IF you were allergic you would know by now.
I groom my kitty 1x a year and brush her with a special brush designed to take care of the undercoat. Especially in the spring and summer.
As far as "furry" clothes go you must use a sticky lint roller. Carry one in your purse. "Petco" and the like have all sizes of lint rolls.
Also I turn all my clothes inside out until I wear them. It helps alot. Try to avoid dark colored tops and bottoms. Certain fabrics attract debris like crazy.
Have a blast with your furry baby for a long time! She must be adorable! Siamese are VERY vocal too. It is funny because sometimes they will "answer" your questions. Try it in a few months. I say "Are you an ugly kitty"? to my Foxxy. She will meow right back. If I ask if she's ugly or bad she'll meow then walk away. I think she knows I am teasing her.

1) Whatever you want to name her.
2). If you were allergic to cats at one time, chances are you still are allergic.
3). No, you can brush her daily to try to keep her from shedding.
4). She's going under the bed because she's scared and hiding. Leave her alone and once she gets used to her new house, she'll be fine.
5). Keep her off your bed and away from your clothes.
Good luck with the new kitten!

1.Name her Ertha Kitt.
2.When your eyes start watering, you start sneezing and you can't breathe without wheezing, you will know you are allergic.
3.You can't stop cat fur from shedding but if you brush her daily it will help.
4.When the kitten becomes comfortable with you it will stop going under your bed. Give her time and be patient.
5.You can't stop cat fur from sticking to your bed sheets and clothes. You need a lint brush to remove it.

1. wait til some part of her personallity comes out and name her according to that.
2. if your sinuses don't plug up or you don't break out your probably not allergic.
3. the only way to stop fur from shedding is to stop feeding your cat, I don't recomend it as it is very cruel. Shedding is a sign that your cat is healthy most of the time.
4. get a squirt gun and any time your cat is somewhere where she isn't suposed to be squirt her. Cats hate water and this is a very benign way of letting her know she is doing something wrong. You may have to do this several times but eventually she will get the point.
5. if you figure that one out let me know an we will both get rich.

1- Whatever your little heart desires:o) You can go to baby-naming websites if you want a more human-like name.
2- Allergy symptoms are sneezing, itchy nose/eyes/throat, coughing, wheezing, etc. If you're allergic to cats, you'll have one or more of these symptoms when you're around cats. If you find you're allergic, you may get used to your own cat. But you can also ask your doctor for a prescription med for indoor allergies.
3- Not really, but if you pet her and brush her a lot (cats LOVE to be brushed) with a cat brush, it'll keep her well groomed and prevent excessive shedding.
4- I'm assuming "going" just means hiding under there. you can't really stop her, and you don't need to. Cats love little hiding places- they like to be cozy and my cat frequently climbs under my bed and sleeps. SHe also likes to get under my legs when i have my feet up on a footrest and a blanket draped over my lap. It's cute;o)
5- you can't stop it from sticking, but you can use those sticky lint rollers to clean it up between washes. i use them on my furniture and they work well. a good vacuum cleaner would work too- they sometimes have special attachments that have little brushes on them or something that make it easier to pick up hair. THe lint rollers i'm talking about are like masking tape turned inside out on a roller thing- they work a ton better on pet hair than the cloth lint brushes.
