i know god loves me but some times i question whether he created us all. Those guilty of any sin must be judged by a righteous judge that don't let the guilty go free like a corrupt judge might. ALL have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. You can't save yourself. You can't undo your past sin. Your efforts to be a good person are as filthy rags to God. ALL have fallen short.

You go girl! The fact is, if you haven't doubted God yet, then your relationship with him hasn't gotten interesting yet. You can't honestly say that you love your brother or sister if you've never argued before! We've all doubted God before. Been there, done that. The important thing though, is not to lose faith! Peace!

oh Sarah, there are times when all of us feel (the same way Jesus felt on the cross as a human being) Eli Eli...why have you forsaken me? We feel as if we are alone on our journey of pain, but if we refer to that footprints poem, we know that its just growing pains.
A diamond only acquires value when its cut and chiselled into shape. Also, we are tested for our durability and God promises us we wont be tested beyond our endurance. It brings us closer to God, these times of suffering, so, if you've got plans to stray, chances are, God's going to love you back into His open arms again.
As for us being created, this must stem from the evolution thing...well, i don't think science as a study by humans is too far off the mark, but the Bible doesnt go into too much detail because its a book about spirituality, so the focus is on that which nurtures the soul. The Bible does speak of "strange creatures" roaming the earth for a long time...and of course, the bible is written with an allegorical side to it more often than not. Sometimes its hard to believe that someone can be a "brother or sister" when they are seemingly inherently evil, say, someone like Sadam Husein or Hitler or the like. STill, these are our brothers and sisters, and the Bible says its the 2nd most important commandment (following that of "Loving God completely") that we love our neighbours as ourselves. A chain is only as strong as its weakest link, if we as a society, a community, a country, all the countries of our planet, were to work together, do things slightly differently, rejected the barbaric approach of war, and traded it for a peaceful negotiations, then we'd all help to eradicate poverty and live on a fairly equal platform of love and harmony.

You are right...our efforts of doing "good" works are as filthy rags to God...many people don't understand His free gift, fully. Thanks for those comments.

I'm not sure if I've ever lost faith, since becoming a Christian, because I know for a fact that God does exist and His word is truth. I do too often, lean on my own understanding and I forget sometimes to just let God be my lead and guide in life. That is something that is easy to do given the state of the world we live in.

We are human - that is why we lose faith. You're not alone. "All have come short of the Glory..."
We have an advocate with God through His son Jesus when we lose faith. We go to God thru His Son and ask forgiveness...He is just to forgive...so subsequently we get back on track.
This is offered to us because God does LOVE US even though we are not worthy.
Isn't He a GREAT God?????? How wonderful to know Him!
Keep on Keeping on until you receive the reward - Home in Heaven with Him. Don't despair and Don't give up.

yes it is true we all have fallen short of the glory of God and yes sin is filthy more filthy then any rag can be this is why we need our Savior Jesus Christ he died on that cross for our sins His Blood cover us and washes our sins as white as snow the moment we repent turn from our sins and accept the Lamb of God Jesus Christ as our person savior our sins were cast into the sea of forgetfulness as far as the east is to the west they are no more and our name is then written in the Lambs Book of life God is our Father in heaven Jesus is the Lamb Gods son and he is making a place for us in Heaven right now and he is almost finished and he is coming for his family we are going to have a great family reunion so please stay ready God Bless you always and keep the faith even if it as small as a mustard seed you can move mountains.

My daughter, at the tender age of four, puts it fantastically. We were at Spring Harvest this year in the south of England and after one particular session, she came out of her group saying, "Mummy, Granny, Grandad, did you know Jesus died on a cross?" We all stated that yes we knew that and then Granny, the trainee priest(!) asks, "And what happened then? He didn't stay dead did he?", "No," says Lizzie, "He came back FOR life!"
So in that small dialogue we all came to understand a bit better that although we all sin, regularly, that if we love God, however many times we sin, Jesus has already washed our sins away in the acts that happened on that first dreadful Holy Week and that first Easter Day.
May we all rejoice in the simplicity and holiness of our children's wisdom.
My Mum now uses that phrase rather than, He came back TO life. We all do.
GLUA (God Loves Us All)

There were times in the past when I sometimes doubted my faith, but as I have become rooted and grounded in the Word of God, and spending time in prayer, and allowing the Lord control of my life, then I no longer doubt, because each day as I live in relationship with Him, He reveals Himself afresh to me in some way. What a wonderful Lord and Saviour!

I don't lose faith ever, not my faith. I feel sad at the attitudes of others, who hurt or spite people poeple out of ignorance.....but I don't lose my faith. Not yet, hopefully not ever. I don't believe ehat you are saying is true. Perhaps you are confused. Each person just has to live the best way that is right for them, and this is my way! God bless and keep you

I've never lost faith in the God of the Bible, nor in his message of Salvation through the Blood of His only begotten Son Jesus Christ (The very incarnation of God himself!!). But, over the past couple of years, I have lost faith in many others who claim his name, yet don't show it consistently by their actions. I'm not talking about occassionaly stumbling, becasue God knows I am anything but near perfect. I am talking about those who believe its O.K. to tell others how to live, yet don't model it themselves, are quick to see the speck in their brother and/or sister's eyes, and be totally oblivious to the beam in their own, expect that, because you are a fellow brother and sister in Christ, it is OK to treat you a certain way, because you are obligated to forgive them, and shrug it off as, "Its just the way I am. After all nobody's perfect", and put on a false piousness that is more sugar coating then actual substance. I realize that not all Believers are like this, so please don't take what I am saying as a blanket statement for all. And, again, I am a firm believer in who the person of Jesus Christ, was (and still is), my sinfulness, and his shed blood as the only way of salvation for anyone. That, along with the Bible being the Inspired Word of God will always be a foundation of what I believe, and will never be shaken. But, it does amaze me how many others who claim his name will actually treat their own worse then others who don't make a claim to Biblical Christianity, yet carry a higher standard of proper social ethics (For the record, I do not belive in a social do good salvation. I am merely pointing out how many who don't claim Biblical Christianity actually disgrace those who do in this area, which is a very sad commentary on the church of today.)

God forgives us when we ask but we must learn to forgive ourselves. Often that is the hardest part. We will always fall short no matter how good we try to be. That is human nature and that is why we have someone to stand up for us. His name is Jesus Christ and He died so that we might live. Hold your faith close to your heart and never let it go.
